Redeemio ("we", "our", "us") operates the voucher platform at redeemio.co.uk and associated tenant storefronts. This policy explains how we handle your data.

Information we collect

When you purchase a voucher, we collect your name, email address, and payment details. Payment information is processed securely by Stripe and never stored on our servers. We also collect the recipient's details if you personalise a gift voucher.

How we use your information

To process your voucher purchase and deliver it to the recipient
To send you a purchase confirmation and access PIN for your digital wallet
To allow venue staff to verify and redeem vouchers at the point of sale
To comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud

Data retention

Voucher records, including personalisation data, are retained for the duration of the voucher's validity plus 12 months. Financial transaction records are retained for 7 years as required by UK law. You can request deletion of your personal data by contacting us.

AI chat assistant (marketing site)

Our marketing site at redeemio.co.uk includes an AI chat assistant ("Aria") that helps businesses evaluate the platform. The assistant uses a single functional cookie called rdm_pub_chat_summary to remember a 1–2 sentence summary of your previous conversation across visits.

The summary contains only what was discussed in chat (your business type, plan interest, questions you asked). It does not contain your name, email, or any contact details unless you provided them directly to the assistant. The full conversation is not stored on our servers — only the short summary, and only in the cookie. The cookie expires after 90 days. If you book a demo, request the £149 setup, or ask us to contact you, the assistant submits your details to the same contact form used by the rest of the site; that data is handled under the "Information we collect" section above.

To clear the chat memory at any time, delete the rdm_pub_chat_summary cookie in your browser settings. The assistant also works without the cookie — it just won't remember you on your next visit.
